Senior Consultant SAP – FICO

• Total Experience: Candidate must have at least 3+ years of Domain Accounting/Finance Exp and 10 to 12 Years of Consulting Experience in SAP
• On-site Experience: Preferred
• Implementation Experience:
• Experience as consultant for at least 2-3 end to end implementation
• Should have experience in Global Template Roll-out, Support / Migration, Upgradation
• Should have experience in managing Global Client.
• Interfaces development between SAP & Non-SAP Environments
• Skills Desired: Functional knowledge of Finance & Accounting, SAP FICO Implementation experience, Simple Finance and Cross module integration knowledge, Experience on Interface, Excellent Communication, should have managed people, Client communication.
• Preferred Qualification: Professional Financial qualification/MBA Finance / CA / ICWA
• Domain Knowledge: Finance, Accounting, Management Accounting, MIS, Month/Year end activities, Understanding of MM & SD process & business concepts, Container Terminal, Shipping, Logistics
• Product Experience: SAP FICO, PS, HR & Cross module integration
• Travel Long Term/Short Term: Should be ready to travel on-site for short term and long term
• Certifications: SAP FI & CO Certification is preferred
• Project Management Skills : Not applicable but leading small team will be an advantage
• Types of Project: Implementations, Roll-outs, Supports, Migration & Upgradations
• TMM Management Skills: Is a MUST.
• Client Communication Skills: Is a Must.
• Note: Experience in implementing SAP FIORI will be an advantage
• Employment Nature(Direct/Subcon): Direct Preferred
• Project Start Date: Candidate is expected to join soon
• Summary Job Description: Job involves Global Template Implementation for FICO Module & roll-outs for our global clients. Candidates is expected to stay on-site and manage on-site and off-shore team, project and client – Relevant SAP experience 10-12 years in FICO module with at least 2-3 end to end implementation. Working exposure of full life cycle implementation in SAP system including analysis, design, documentation, configuration, training end users, Go-Live, and support.

1. SAP New GL functionality with leading and Parallel ledger in ECC 6.0
2. Should have thorough knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting and FA processes and should know controlling sub modules Cost element accounting, Cost Centre accounting Profit centre accounting & Internal Order
3. Experience with system design, configuration, customization, integration, testing and support
4. Should have handled requirement analysis, configuration, blueprinting (Fit-gap analysis), testing.
5. Should have good knowledge in integration with MM, SD, PS, HR, ABAP modules.
6. Function Specifications of Reports, Forms, Interfaces
7. Must be strong in the fundamentals of domain accounting to apply while mapping the business requirements into SAP.
8. Candidate should have good communication and presentation skills
9. Should have managed SAP engagements with large overseas customers leveraging global delivery model
10. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a dynamic team environment
11. Strong track record of meeting project schedules and budgets
12. Certification in SAP Financials at least at associate level (optional)
13. Ability to work under challenging environments & to maintain the cordial relationship, Good Communication and presentation skills.
14. Must have worked on global projects for experience in coordinating efforts for projects extending to multiple countries.
15. Any experience in handling global template programs or global rollouts preferred
16. Ability to work well in/with teams and manage customer relationships
17. Must be highly analytical, team player & ability to learn quickly.
18. Support to the global users improving the operational efficiency and quality
19. Must be self-starter and proactive, including managing deliverables and meet the deadlines with minimal guidance.
