Envecon, a niche IT service provider will be implementing SAP for a global container terminal at three of their terminals (Mexico, Honduras and Argentina) in Latin America using a big bang implementation model.
Envecon will be rolling out the global template for Enterprise Financials and Materials Management and key interfaces to external systems such as Terminal Operations (for billing information) and ARIBA for Procurement.
The language interface will be in Spanish and all localization’s pertains to local reporting and taxation will also be part of the project engagement.
The project is expected to be completed within a period of 6 months & will standardize core processes in finance and inventory/procurement to align with the Global Template.
Client is one of the largest international container terminal in terms of volume and capacity and primarily deals with international containerized cargo. It is a publicly-listed company involved in management, operation and development of port terminals worldwide.
