Corporate Social Responsibility Policy

CONCEPT AND VISION:

Envecon aspires to be a globally recognised digital solutions provider; and evolve as the Technology partner of choice for asset intensive industries worldwide. The Company believes in the trusteeship concept. This entails transcending business interests and grappling with the "quality of life" challenges that underserved communities face, and working towards making a meaningful difference to them

Envecon Foundation, the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Envecon Group will be the principal channel in advancing its corporate philanthropy for Envecon Group to build resilient solutions to deal with the "quality of life" challenges that underserved communities face, and working towards making a meaningful difference to them

This policy lays down the guidelines and mechanism for undertaking socially useful programs for welfare & sustainable development of the community at large and is titled as the "CSR Policy" which is based as per The Companies (Corporate Social Responsibility Policy) Rules, 2014 initiated by the Central Government under the relevant provisions of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013 (hereinafter "the Act") and Schedule VII of the Act.

CSR POLICY:

The Company intends to adopt one or more of the following initiatives and activities under the CSR Policy through Envecon Foundation:

  • Promoting education by opening, conducting and maintaining educational institutions such as Nursery, Primary, Secondary schools, Colleges and Training centres
  • Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition, promoting health care including preventive health care and sanitation by establishing, running and managing medical centres and medical help to the needy
  • Promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially for children and also to setup and provide residential hostel and educational facilities for deprived, tribal and orphan students.

To undertake any such activities as may be prescribed under Schedule VII of the Companies act as Corporate Social Responsibility activities:

  • Eradicating hunger, poverty and malnutrition, promoting Health care including preventive health care and sanitation including contribution to the Swatch Bharat Kosh set up by the C.G. for the promotion of Sanitation and making available safe drinking water;

  • Promoting education, including special education and employment enhancing vocation skills especially among children, women, elderly, and the differently abled and livelihood enhancement projects;

  • Promoting gender equality, empowering women, setting up homes and hostels for women and orphans; setting up old age homes, day care centers and such other facilities for senior citizens and measures for reducing inequalities faced by socially and economically backward groups;

  • Ensuring environmental sustainability, ecological balance, protection of flora and fauna, animal welfare, agroforestry, conservation of natural resources and maintaining quality of soil, air and water including contribution to the clean Ganga fund set up by the CG for rejuvenation of river Ganga.

  • Protection of national heritage, art and culture including restoration of buildings and sites of historical importance and works of art; setting up public libraries; promotion and development of traditional arts and handicrafts;

  • Measures for the benefit of armed forces veterans, war widows and their dependents;

  • Training to promote rural sports, nationally recognized sports, paralympic sports and Olympic sports;

  • Contribution to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund or any other fund set up by the Central Government for socio-economic development and relief and welfare of the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes, minorities and women; Contributions or funds provided to technology incubators located within academic institutions which are approved by the Central Government;

  • Rural development projects.

  • Slum area development. ['slum area' shall mean any area declared as such by the Central Government or any State Government or any other competent authority under any law for the time being in force."

Any of the aforesaid initiatives and the activities that may be undertaken by the Company will be referred to as "CSR Initiatives and Activities" hereinafter.
